John McCain just said that Sarah Palin is a role model for American women. Well, I want to say a loud NOT ONLY NO BUT HELL NO. She is no role model for me and she represents none of my values.
John McCain spent the debate trashing Obama and Biden. He behaved like a snarly small dog nipping at the heals of unwelcome visitors.
He should be ashamed to show his face.
By contrast, Obama showed grace and restraint. He was presidential and gave intelligent and cogent responses. Bravo to him.
We saw the poll results after the debate and it looks quite a few people agreed with you. Can’t wait for the election.
I totally agree with you. she is no role model for myself, nor my daughter, and, I hope, for all our young women. Sarah Palin is one of the scariest bitches to come along in awhile, at least come along to such a potentially powerful position.
Did you read the New Yorker editorial that supported Obama and his thoughtful and graceful dispostion under fire?
Not only that, but McCain insisted that he repudiated anyone in his campaign for fueling the negativity and nastiness we’ve been hearing from his McCain. But have you heard him rebuke Palin? Not no, but HELL no!

The more I see and learn about McCain the more I consider him to be a scary many
McCain’s integrity flew out the window long ago, and his campaign doesn’t seem to understand how the attitudes of negativity is hurting him. A role model for women? *sigh*. Never.
Hi, Onedia.
I found your blog from a comment you left at Margaret and Helen. I like what you say, I like your voice. I would like to come back and visit again. Nice to meet you! I am Becky in Arizona. I blog about my kids and being a mom. Palin is not the kind of woman, let alone person that I would ever consider a role model! I wanted to punch my TV during that debate. Anyway maybe you will visit: http://nooniebug.blogspot.com
I was yelling at the tv when he said she was a role model for women. He’s so wrong about that.
