Some Beauty in the Storm
This sweet little guy sat on the feeder hook so that Matthew could snap his photo. I think he must be one of the Blue Birds from the four clutches in the nesting box that we mounted last spring. They have stayed around since then.
This is my first photo of a Cedar Waxwing
This shows how thick the ice was.
The furry friends decided warm was worth being close.

That is WAY too much ice. I hope it’s the last of it for this season, though it’s still too early for Spring.

The birds are beautiful, why can’t Britain have a few birds with cheery colours?I suppose we have to make do with political cuckoos. Nice snaps Odedia.
